How to pull ECU error codes for 87-95 Pathfinders and Hardbody pickups:

The ECU is under your passenger's side seat. You can gain access to it by simply sliding the seat all the way forward and removing the plastic cover from the ECU. You can also remove the seat if you want, it makes access a little easier.

Door Lock Timer

Nissan's original part number

This is superseded by

Ideally a $85 part but in 2016 a new part is not available from any online source.

Nissan recommends replacing it with:
28451-C9978 and B0870-B1022

Unfortunately, 28451-C9978 is $126 new. Fortunately, this mid-1990s part from a Nissan Altima is readily available used on Ebay for $25-$30.

B0870-B1022 is an O-Ring. I'm betting we don't need it. John says "Nissan suggests replacing both for the part number it came from ...

If you have a 1990 to 1994 or so Nissan product (Nissan or Infiniti), and your power door locks are acting strangely, the problem is most likely caused by the door lock timer. The most common symptoms of a flaky door lock timer are one or more of the following:
